We show you where the sun is shining in Switzerland and how you get there the quickest.

About Sunbassadeur

Three different symbols indicate the sunshine intensity at the official weather stations of MeteoSwiss on the map:

• >=90%, 9 or more minutes of sunshine during the last 10 minutes
• >=30%, 3 or more minutes of sunshine during the last 10 minutes (but less than 9min)
• less than 30% of sunshine (e.g. rain, night)

Upon selecting a weather station a dialog with detailed measuring values and a link to information about the station itself opens. Furthermore, there's a link to all public webcams in the station's vicinity. It allows for a visual verification of the measuring values and answers the question "does the sun really shine there?".
To determine the quickest way to the sun all you need to do is to enter a location (e.g. the current one) in that dialog.
